Underwear Model David Beckham & Man Without a Six-Pack James Corden Pose in Underwear
David Beckham, once the world’s greatest soccer player, eventually traded his cleats for tighty whities and embraced his true calling: “Underwear Model of the Century” (that’s totally a serious title that we absolutely did not make up). But the 39-year-old father of four has recently admitted that it might be time to put his clothes on (insert sad emoji face here). And so, in order to not leave us hanging, has found a successor in James Corden.
On his talk show Sunday night, the new host of The Late Late Show With James Corden stripped down alongside Victoria’s handsome husband and the two promoted their new line, D & J briefs. The collection, which will be “in no stores anywhere,” features a fake advertisement that appears to have been inspired by Matthew McConaughey’s Lincoln commercials. The handsome men pose Usain Bolt-style, in nothing but their eponymous undergarments. A blow dryer’s commissioned for that windswept hair effect, while they jump, gyrate, and spew words like “supported,” “free,” “cradled,” “alive,” and “sexually aroused,” all related to the superior construction of their skivvies.
Corden might not have a six-pack, but as Beckham says, “Beauty is skin deep. It’s underneath that counts.” And Corden certainly has the comedy chops to more than make up for his lack of muscles.
