Fila Debuts Tennis Canada’s New Uniform Collection Featuring Delirium Sneakers
To represent Canada on the tennis court, sportswear brand Fila looked to the past.
The label took inspiration from its iconic 1970s White Line range to produce a new collection for Tennis Canada that debuted on Tuesday.
As part of a multi-year deal, officials, staff, volunteers and ball crew members of Canada’s national tennis organization will be outfitted in the brand’s apparel and Delirium sneakers at the Rogers Cup, which begins Saturday.
The Cage Delirium sneaker, released in March, retails for $100 at Fila.com and tennis specialty retailers.
The footwear improves conditions for rapid movement with multi-directional pivot points on a durable outsole, with a TPU midfoot support.
Men will wear the red/black/white colorway and women will wear the white/metallic silver colorway.
Complementing the tennis shoes, the on-court uniforms will include Tennis Canada’s traditional color palette of red and black.
The apparel consists of four silhouettes of tops, including a V-neck, crew, and polo shirt, as well as a half-zip hoody.
Fila’s senior vice president of apparel, North America, Danny Lieberman said the collaboration reflects the brand’s “storied heritage in the sport and commitment to performance and style.”
