Gigi Hadid Stepped Out in Striped Pajamas and Looked So Chic (and Comfy!)
Supermodel Gigi Hadid is never afraid to experiment with different trends in her personal style — no matter how formal or informal.
The 21-year-old Victoria’s Secret model recently stepped out in New York City wearing a green-and-white striped silk pajama set. She paired the $588 Morgan Lane customized ensemble (“Gigi” is embroidered on the pocket) with Stuart Weitzman sandals and Garrett Leight glasses.
Although wearing sleepwear during the day — in public — might seem unconventional, a number of celebrities have incorporated silk styles into their everyday looks with their own personal touches.
Fellow Instagram “it” girl Kendall Jenner styled Gucci’s $1,750 silk shirt and matching $1,300 silk pajama pants with black heels when she visited a night club in Miami Beach, Fla., last December.

She also tested the trend a few months before during an appearance on the Ellen show. She dressed up her green silk Bec & Bridge look with Yeezy block heels and layered necklaces.

Her older sister Kim Kardashian has also worn casual loungewear to an event. Like Kendall, Kim accessorized her silk ensemble with heels to complete the look.
Another member of the celeb set, singer and actress Selena Gomez, styled her $420 silky printed pajama set by Olivia von Halle with red heels while out in Paris.
In perhaps the most risqué take on the trend, singer Rihanna wore a silk pink pajama ensemble —showing off her lace bra and fluffy pink heels — to a late-night studio session in 2015.
The outfit aligned with the pop singer’s tendency to gravitate toward provocative styles. While some might not be onboard with wearing pajamas out in public, it’s clear many celebrities and models love to do so.
Comfort is key after all, right?
