Jennifer Lawrence & Bill Murray Offer Up Comic-Con FOMO

Something excellent happened in San Diego on Thursday: Your imaginary BFF, Jennifer Lawrence, and your imaginary zany uncle, Bill Murray, hung out together.
Said epic hangout occurred at Comic-Con 2015, where Murray showed up to make a surprise appearance at a panel for his new comedy flick, Rock the Kasbah (while dressed as his character, a down and out band manager stuck in the Middle East), as well as to share his newfound appreciation for the vocal talents of Miley Cyrus.
“Miley Cyrus is really f–cking good,” he reportedly told the crowd. “She can really sing. I thought she was a knucklehead crazy girl who you’d want to go on a road trip with, but she floored everyone with her singing — people like Paul Schaffer and George Clooney.” (Cyrus’s musical stylings will appear in Murray’s upcoming Netflix Christmas special.)
Lawrence was at the event to promote her latest Hunger Games installation, Mockingjay – Part 2, where she told the audience (and moderator Conan O’Brien) that portraying Katniss Everdeen in four films hasn’t exactly improved her at-home beauty skills. As for whether she’s capable of creating Katniss’s signature braid, Lawrence says she’s “terrible,” adding, “I could braid in an emergency.” And now you know.
Yet, despite their vastly (well, mildly) different reasons for attending Comic-Con, both J.Law and B.Mur found the time to get together for a few cute, smiley pics that are giving us major FOMO. We may not have been there with them IRL, but as far as we’re aware, there’s no rule against printing out that photo and hanging it up in our cubicle, to look at when we need a little extra sunshine on a gray day such as this one.
BRB, just refilling the color ink cartridge.
