Jennifer Lawrence Is Lonely Every Saturday Night, Too
If Hollywood elected a prom queen, it seems Jennifer Lawrence would be the clear winner. She lives in a Beverly Hills mansion formerly owned by Jessica Simpson in a gated community where she’s neighbors with Cameron Diaz and invites herself over to Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’s place. She’s currently renting a home in Atlanta previously occupied by Jennifer Garner and Michael Fassbender taught her how to make a dirty martini. She occasionally throws ragers and a recent birthday celebration featured a cake in the shape of a pile of poop that read, ‘Happy birthday, you piece of shit!’ and Kris Jenner attended. “My knees buckled,” she told Vogue of having the Kardashian matriarch surprise her. “And then I got hammered and talked to her like I think I’m part of the family.”
Like the Kardashians, Lawrence has built a beloved public persona based on her no bulls*** attitude and unfiltered opinions. Appearing on the cover of the magazine’s December issue in anticipation of the final Hunger Games, the actress explained that she calls her inability to shut her trap “a taboo impulsivity: If you shouldn’t say it, it’s all of a sudden coming out of my mouth.”

But isn’t that precisely why she’s America’s sweetheart? Why the world loves her? Well, at least love from a distance. After dating Chris Martin for a year, she’s currently single. Like, super single. So single, she joked that her hymen’s growing back. “No one ever asks me out,” she said. “I am lonely every Saturday night. Guys are so mean to me. I know where it’s coming from, I know they’re trying to establish dominance, but it hurts my feelings. I’m just a girl who wants you to be nice to me. I am straight as an arrow. I feel like I need to meet a guy, with all due respect, who has been living in Baghdad for five years who has no idea who I am.”
Yet that doesn’t stop her from thinking about one day tying the knot. “I can’t wait to be married,” she admitted. “I feel like if I find that one person who I want to spend the rest of my life with, who I want to be the father of my children, that I would absolutely not f*** it up. … But I’m also not banking on that.”
Until she reaches the ‘till death do us part stage in her life, she has her dog Pippa as a companion, who she practically stole from her mother after the animal consoled her following the leak of her nude photos last year. There’s also her mega career to keep her busy. With The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, she’s free of film commitments and starting to make choices and return to Indies, where she got her start. Next up is Passengers, a romance movie set in space starring Chris Pratt (she famously fought for equal, nay, greater pay, than her male counterpart). She’s also committed to a Steven Spielberg biopic of war photographer Lynsey Addario and a Darren Aronofsky project.
Because prom queens aren’t just pretty and popular, they can be smart and successful, too.
