There’s been lots of speculation of how celebrities would interpret this year’s Met Gala theme, “China: Through the Looking Glass,” and now that the ball’s in full swing, we have the answer: Red. Lots and lots and LOTS of red. Symbolizing happiness and good fortune, the bold color was an easy (and–yay!–very politically correct) way to honor Chinese culture on fashion’s biggest night.
