Party People Unite! Michael Kors, Naomi Campbell, Kylie Jenner & More Hit the NYFW Fetes
There is no stopping the party train during New York Fashion Week, and over the weekend designers and their loyalists raged until the wee hours. Riccardo Tisci went from showing an elegant, rather poetic collection on Manhattan's West Side to engaging in a full-on rave further downtown. (Laverne Cox and a pregnant Kim Kardashian made the trek as well as the city's cutest club kids.) Then on Saturday, it was Alexander Wang's turn to dance as he transformed his runway into a stip club replete with pole dancers — and boneless buffalo bites! — from Hooters. Zoe Kravitz, Kylie Jenner, and Tyga joined in on the fun which included live performances by Lil' Wayne and Ludacris.
Sunday night were tamer affairs as Michael Kors swilled champagne at a fete for his new Gold fragrance at the Top of the Standard with Mario Testino, Naomi Campbell and a bevy of models. There was also a dance party of a different sort. Models falling down the runway were actually dancers from the New York City Ballet, who had been chorographed by Iovanna Lloyd Wright (daughter of the famed architect), much to the delight of onlookers Jessica Alba and Rose McGowan.
