Taylor Swift Changed 10 Times at First 1989 Concert

While the rest of the world’s fashion-loving famous people were being photographed to death in their elaborate gowns at the Met Gala (and subsequent afterparties), Taylor Swift was busy switching outfits not once, not twice, not thrice, but 10 TIMES. She also somehow managed to find the time to perform some songs between changes—or so we’ve heard anyway.

The quick-change artist was in Tokyo to kick off her “1989” world tour, which reportedly features an epic set list, and an even more fantastic wardrobe. From a flirty crop top and purple mini combo, to a super-sparkly sheer bodysuit—reminiscent of one her BFF Karlie Kloss wore during the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show—Tay-Tay made it clear that she didn’t need a red carpet to show off her wares.
