Another Magic Mike alum, Alex Pettyfer’s abs are all he needs to flash in order to get the part. He looks pretty nice in a suit, too.
Luke Grimes plays Elliot Grey, Christian’s brother in 50 Shades. He didn’t get the amount of screen time his hotness deserves so it would only be right if he stepped into the position.
Unbroken wasn’t critically acclaimed, but that doesn’t mean Jack O’Connell didn’t shine. He deserves another leading man role and Christian Grey is a big role that would push him into the superstardom stratosphere that he deserves to be in.
He’s already been a Nymphomaniac so why not try his hand (or some other body part) at being a dominant in the bedroom? LaBeouf’s recent psychological issues would play well with Grey’s 50 Shades of f***ed up attitude.
The Sons of Anarchy star was almost the 50 Shades leading man but scheduling conflicts (and other lame excuses) kept him from taking the part. But while some were disappointed with the casting, others were anticipating seeing the hunky and rough around the edges actor bring the character to the silver screen.
Matthew Hitt has been Johnson’s on-and-off boyfriend for a while. Part of the rumored problem with Dornan is his lack of chemistry with the actress. With Hitt, the connection would be undeniable.
The male model, who became the crush of every teenage girl recently when he appeared in Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” video, would bring in a big audience of her fans — a few million of them.
Before casting for the first 50 Shades movie started, fans shipped Matt Bomer as their Christian Grey. When word got out that he was out the running because of his sexual orientation, hearts were broken. Who cares who Bomer loves? He’s hot and an amazing actor. With Dornan out, Bomer can step right into the position. E.L. James reportedly takes her fans’ feelings very seriously so this option is a definite possibility.
Anyone that’s seen Shame knows that Fassbender can expertly play out a sex scene. The sequel has even more playroom action so having someone comfortable with floggers is a must.
