The lights at the Balenciaga show started dimming while guests were still being ushered to their seats. Suddenly a woman appeared who did not have the physique of a model started strutting down the runway with her hands on her hips, almost flamenco-style! As the camera lights illuminated her face, we realized it was none other than Lady Gaga who was working the catwalk. Before we knew it, the bass was pumping and actual models dressed in black-and-white cocoon-shaped houndstooth coats held together by a glamorous CB pin took over.
