This Couple Is In-N-Out Relationship Goals
One California couple has a particularly unusual tradition that they have upheld for much of their 53 years of marriage. It involves visiting famed burger joint In-N-Out once a week.
Every time the couple eats at the chain restaurant, the wife sends a photo of her husband to their granddaughter, Heather Daniels. Daniels recently shared a tweet featuring her grandparents’ ritual that has since gone viral.
Everytime my grandparents go to In N Out together, my grandma takes a pic of my grandpa and texts it to me. I hope to be like them one day ???? pic.twitter.com/zb3uN2CjCN

“Every time my grandparents go to In-N-Out together, my grandma takes a pic of my grandpa and texts it to me. I hope to be like them one day,” she wrote alongside the pictures of her grandfather at the eatery.
The photo tradition was loved by the Twitter community, quickly racking up almost 600 retweets and over 2,000 likes.

Daniels tells Yahoo Style that the tradition “started because they started sending pictures to my uncle, who lives in Washington — where there is no In-N-Out. My grandma would send him pictures of the food to make him jealous.”
The photo tradition has helped to bring family members closer together. “It’s used as a way to keep in contact with family, which is why she eventually also started sending me the photos too. It always brightens my day. They are so cute!” Daniels says.
The high school student and her grandparents were surprised by the reaction from the tweet.
“They knew I posted about it on Twitter, but they had no idea It would get SO much attention!” she says. “In fact, my grandma was one of the first people to retweet it! I think it’s funny because my grandpa is one of the most humble people I have ever met, and to see so much attention on him is insane. I’m not sure if he even sees how much attention it’s getting.”
She hopes to one day have a tradition like her grandparents. “They are my biggest role models, who I look up to very much. They have such a genuine relationship, and they both love the Lord very much. I think their tradition is absolutely adorable, I definitely wouldn’t mind having a tradition like that one day!” she says.
