Among rapper Travis Scott’s numerous sneakers with Jordan Brand, his triple-collaborations with Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design imprint are some of the most coveted. Released weeks apart in July and August 2021, the Fragment Design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High and Low appeared destined to be a one-time affair, but now early rumors are surfacing of a potential rekindling.
Although it’s far off, a fall 2025 launch has been reported for a brand new Fragment Design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low. Expected to arrive in “Sail/Black/Muslin/Military Blue” style, the pair’s color scheme recalls an exclusive pair that Fujiwara was spotted wearing in September 2022 at the NBA Japan Games in Tokyo.
Seated alongside other Nike luminaries including tennis star Naomi Osaka, Japanese hip-hop artist Awich, pro skater and recent Olympic gold medalist Yuto Horigome and actress Suzu Hirose, Fujiwara laced up a pair of previously — and since — unseen Fragment Design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Lows.
The shoes used a similar palette as the designer’s other work with the Cactus Jack artist, combining a white tumbled leather upper with a vintage-looking off-white bottom and shoelaces. Royal blue filled in the sneaker’s signature oversized reverse Swoosh logo, as well as its outsole, liner and heel detailing. While Fujiwara shared another glimpse at the shoes on Instagram, there are no documented instances of Travis Scott wearing the unreleased style.
A longtime Nike partner, Fujiwara is a pioneer of Japanese streetwear and sneaker collaboration culture. Along with his Fragment Design work, the designer helped helm a limited-edition Nike line known as HTM alongside former CEO Mark Parker and famed designer Tinker Hatfield.
It’s not yet confirmed if the upcoming Fragment Design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low, with an expected SKU of DM7866-104, will be a one-to-one match of the pair Fujiwara wore in ’22. As of publishing, the “Sail/Black/Muslin/Military Blue” colorway is slated to arrive during fall ’25 for a retail price of $150, but readers should be sure to check back for any possible changes.
