The Biggest Regret Seth Meyers Has About His Kellyanne Conway Interview
Seth Meyers visited The View and revealed his biggest regret about his interview with Kellyanne Conway. Conway, the counselor to President Trump, was a guest on Late Night With Seth Meyers in January, prior to Trump’s inauguration.
Moments before that interview, CNN reported that Russia had compromising information on Trump. The two discussed that issue, but Meyers wishes he had more time to talk about other things.
Meyers told the hosts of The View, “The one thing I wanted to talk about is, you know, I think that not enough attention is paid to President Trump and his birtherism towards President Obama.”
He was referring to Trump’s repeated false claims that Barack Obama was not born in the United States.
There doesn’t seem to be any animosity between Meyers and Conway. The Late Night host added, “I had a lot of respect for Kellyanne and the fact she came and spent time with us.”
