Ellen Laughs While Dangling Women Scream
On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, guests played a little game called “You Bet Your Wife,” which involved Ellen asking husbands how many correct answers they thought their wives could give to a question in a set period of time. Oh yeah, and their wives were being dangled high up in the air and got dropped down if they lost a round.
The men were asked things like how many planets could their wives name, or how many Tom Hanks movies, and then the men had to “outbid” each other based on their faith in their wives. If the women, who were also blindfolded, couldn’t name the number of answers their husbands guessed, Ellen pulled a lever that dropped them down a few feet. She seemed to take great delight in the women’s screams and giggles, but so would we if we met someone who could name only two Tom Hanks movies and said that Hanks was also in “the one with the, he’s on the island.”
