James Corden Shares Heartfelt Message With His Hometown of London After Attack
James Corden, host of The Late Late Show With James Corden, had a message for his hometown of London, England, after a violent attack left several dead and scores of people injured.
The comedian said, “When something like that happens in your hometown, you don’t have a feeling of being glad to be so far away, you wish you could be there with loved ones to stand alongside them.”
Corden went on to praise London for its cultural and ethnic diversity, as well as its ability to remain unified in times of trouble, saying “One thing is for sure, if this thing was supposed to divide the people of London, I know for a fact that all something like this does is bring them closer together as one.”
James concluded by saying, “Tonight we send our heartfelt thoughts to Britain, to everybody.”
The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. on CBS.
