‘SNL’ Star Aidy Bryant’s Fiancé Proposed to Her Frantically and Without Pants On
SNL cast member Aidy Bryant stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers, and her former castmate congratulated her on her recent engagement to ex Late Night writer Conner O’Malley.
Bryant recalled the moment O’Malley proposed to her, which happened after she got home from work one night. “I got home, I had my purse and our mail and all these boxes and I walked in the door and, umm, our dog had a bow tie on,” the actress recalls. “I was like my dog doesn’t wear a bow tie, what, where is he going tonight.” Things got even stranger after that, with O’Malley “frantically” running into the room without his pants on, holding out a ring and blurting out the question. Bryant was very confused at first and thought it was all a joke, but luckily, she figured things out and ended up saying yes.
