Top 5 Donald Trump Punch Lines of the Week
Donald Trump’s presidency continues to dominate the late-night television landscape. Every monologue is filled with jokes about Trump, his family, and his administration. It is impossible to keep up with all the hilarious jokes, so we rounded up the top five Trump punch lines of the week.
Donald Trump Punch Lines
On The Daily Show With Trevor Noah, Trevor commented on last Saturday being Donald Trump’s 100th day in office. Trevor then said, “Which means he no longer has that new president smell. If I had to guess, I would say he now smells like nepotism and steak sauce.”
Conan brought up Trump’s recent phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, adding, “The call was all part of Putin’s annual employee review.” And on The Late Show With Seth Meyers, Seth joked about Trump’s comments on the Civil War. Seth said: “President Trump questioned why America fought the Civil War. You know, at this rate, the only way Trump is going to get a second term is if he’s held back.”
Meanwhile, on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Stephen was in some hot water for a joke he told this week that prompted #FireColbert. But a joke that Stephen told that wasn’t so controversial was after a clip of Donald Trump bragging about his big tax returns. Following the clip, Stephen said, “We get it. You have a huge tax return. But you know what would be nice? A full release.”
